Hotel Barracuda

Everything was spotless and meticulously looked after, and the location is perfect, literally steps from the beach. From the first minute, the service was exceptional. The staff are lovely, always kind and ready to help, and they treated us tourists wonderfully. We felt more than welcome, almost like we were at home. I'd recommend it 1000%, and we'd return again and again!

Breakfast is very good, with a nice choice of fruit and breads, and eating while looking out at the sea is beautiful. The location is lovely, and service is excellent at all times. Everyone's willing to help with whatever we ask. The room is decent, though a few things could be improved. It has air conditioning, which is essential, and it works perfectly. Since the ground-floor room faces the street, you need to lock it every time you go out.

We were delighted with our family stay. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, and you're only steps from the beach in a very convenient location. Lorena and her daughter were exceptional, so kind and attentive to every detail, and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. I'll definitely come back.

The breakfasts are served in a lounge overlooking the ocean, with balconies where you can have coffee and take in an incredible view. There's a generous spread: breads, croissants, cheese, jam, butter, dulce de leche, cold cuts, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, and delicious pastries. A real luxury! I've stayed at the Barracuda Hotel several times and plan to keep coming back. It's a family hotel with a friendly feel and lots of attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful, and some have balconies facing the ocean. The beds are super comfortable, and the rooms are well equipped with a full bathroom, small refrigerator, electric kettle, TV with Netflix and other streaming services, lounge chairs, and beach towels. It's right on the beach, about a 10-minute walk along the coastal promenade to the center of Gesell.
