Meca Playa Apart & Spa

The ocean view is beautiful, though the area gets a lot of 4x4s and ATVs, whose frequent and sometimes careless noise could be bothersome. It's also quite a way from the city center. The three-room apartment had basic facilities and several things needing repair, and the playroom was completely defective. The advertised pool and sauna couldn't be used. It's a pleasant place, but for the price, it feels like you're mostly paying for the view.

The sea view is the loveliest part, and the pool was spotless and always clean. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh, and the service was consistently top-notch. When a curtain broke, someone came to fix it right away. The place itself is beautiful. The one thing to consider is the staff chatting loudly around 6:00 amo, since our window faced reception. They came in greeting each other at full volume, then played videos a bit loudly. We were there outside the season. It wasn't a real problem, just something to keep in mind.

The view was incredible and it was very peaceful, but quite a few things need attention. The pool was nice, though a little dirty, and wasn't heated. The sauna and Scottish shower weren't working either. Breakfast was good, but the same each day, so it could use more variety. These all seem like things they can improve.

The breakfast is generous, the service is good, the hotel is clean, and the views are excellent. This is my second visit, and the shower issues are new this time. Water pressure and temperature are low, and it cools down so quickly that you have to shower fast with the hot tap on. I've complained twice, but nothing's changed. The pool was quite dirty, with bugs in it. There's just one old TV in the living room, probably 32 inches at most, with only poor-quality broadcast channels. It's too small for the space. A 42-inch smart TV is the minimum, and there are no TVs in the bedrooms.
