A lovely garden full of trees and greenery, with a pool, makes this hotel a perfect getaway. The rooms are basic but clean and okay. Breakfast isn’t continental, but it’s fine.

The night receptionist was very nice, but I had a terrible time and wouldn’t recommend this place. On February 23rd, after asking about availability, we came to the hotel and got awful service. I said, “Well, I didn’t say anything,” but the morning receptionist’s manner was terrible. They asked for everyone’s names, ID numbers, and even blood types. After giving us a key and explaining things, the receptionist kept following us. He watched us at the pool and as we went to our rooms. There was no privacy, it felt like a horror movie. We’d asked before entering whether the security cameras worked and were told they did. I went back to our room briefly from the pool, and when I returned my helmet was gone. The afternoon receptionist called the owner, who then told us the cameras weren’t working and were just for show. I wanted to know whether any of my things had been stolen. Whether it was a guest or someone from outside, security was poor and it felt like anyone could walk in. I got no help at all, and was left without a helmet for the trip back. They said we could stay until 6 pm the next day, but we left in the morning because I didn’t want to remain there. The bad feeling was there from the start. Go somewhere else.

We left after one night, even though I’d booked two for January 2026. The rooms were damp, the ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on, and I had to ask for a standing fan. The tiny bathroom had no bidet, and the supposed 7mb high-speed internet didn’t reach the bedroom. At first there was no hot water because of a water-heater problem, which they fixed by evening. The next morning we found out its thermostat had jammed overnight and the fire department had come. They warned some guests to evacuate, but nobody told us about the risk, even though I was there with my wife and children. I spoke with the owner and apologized before leaving. The continental breakfast was included only because the hotel is on the continent: milk, coffee, toast, croissants, jam, dulce de leche, and juice. This place doesn’t even qualify as terrible.

The only good part was that the hot water worked properly. The room’s carpet was filthy, covered with dirt and crumbs from who knows when, and there was no Wi-Fi signal in the room. I booked through Despegar, and they charged me extra for a room. The receptionist was concerned, but couldn’t fix the problem. The owner told her to charge us for an extra room even though it was their mistake that the room we’d booked wasn’t available. We paid because it was late, raining hard, and we’d already paid through Mercado Pago. Never pay in advance, it’s a mistake!

The rooms were in poor shape, very damp, with old furniture and structures and little sign of maintenance. There was no hot water in the rooms, so they suggested all guests shower in the one room where the water worked. That’s not what you expect after paying such a high price. Breakfast was another letdown. The booking said “continental,” but each person got just one drink and two croissants, and they even counted the sugar packets. It was nowhere near what was advertised. It’s a shame, since the place could be good, but it seems they aren’t investing in improvements despite the high cost. I wouldn’t recommend it until they make real improvements to the services and facilities.
