Hotel Villa del Sol

The bathroom is roomy and the shower is great, and the beds were super comfortable, with new or very well-kept box springs. The facilities are fine and comfortable, and the air conditioning is okay. The service could be better. On checkout day, they rudely asked us to leave an hour early, and it made us feel unwelcome, like they were trying to kick us out like a dog. I hope breakfast improves too. The quality wasn't good. Better coffee would help, and I'd rather have a glass of water than juice that makes you feel sick.

Daniel was kind and attentive from the beginning, but the room we got was horrible. The bathroom was tiny, with no shower enclosure, so a shower soaked the toilet and basically the whole room. The water went from scalding hot to freezing cold, with no in-between. The beds were comfortable, at least, but the TV remote didn't work and there wasn't even a mirror in the room. Breakfast was the worst: two awful croissants, a dry roll, tea, and juice that tasted like Tang. Maybe we got the worst room because we booked a package deal, but it still felt like a rip-off. Honestly, the hotel was a disgrace.

Its location near the sea and pedestrian area is perfect. The hotel is beautiful, with a small but functional pool, and the rooms have TVs and air conditioning. Mr. Daniel was very attentive to me and my daughter, and the kitchen staff were polite and kind. Everyone was responsible and courteous. I'd choose this hotel again without hesitation. Daniel and the dining room staff were the only good part. Everything else was deplorable, and the place doesn't deserve the 3 stars displayed at the entrance. Our room flooded, and all they offered was a plunger. The sheets were filthy, disgusting, and we had to bathe in the bidet. There isn't even Wi-Fi. A complete disaster.
