La Deseada Hostel

Tom the cat is always around, and he’s such a sweetheart! The hostel is beautiful, well located near the center, and very clean and tidy. Dani and Mabe are lovely, super friendly, and keep the place spotless. Even the shared rooms are comfortable and have private bathrooms. Breakfast was just tea and coffee with two croissants, which felt pretty meager. I’d add fruit and toast. The shared rooms are also quite expensive. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms, and you need to bring your own towels. Everything else was a 10/10. I’d definitely come back. I’ve attached a photo of Tom 🐈🐈🐈🐈

Mabel is amazing, and they made us feel right at home. It’s a lovely place to share, with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Everything was clean and tidy, and the common areas were really well kept. In the garden you can have some mate on the grass, play foosball, or sit down with a board game. I loved the hostel and highly recommend it.

We stayed during the first two weeks of February with La Chilinga. The different areas were lovely and always clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. It was great having a foosball table too. We’ll be back next year!

The staff are attentive and friendly, and the rooms get cleaned every day, so they’re spotless. The hostel is in a really quiet area, with a lovely park and comfortable common spaces. There’s a grill available and a washing-up area at the back. The kitchen is well equipped, though a bit small. One thing bothered me: to reach the first-floor rooms, you have to walk all the way around the outside of the building. The sprinklers in the park are placed so poorly they almost block the walkway.
