Cabañas Huitan Co

The garden is pleasant, though there's a workshop full of wood and tools right in the middle. The view is incredible, and the apartments are nice and well-equipped, but neglected. We had lots of trouble with the hot water, the Wi-Fi didn't work at all, and the doors wouldn't close properly. The breakfast was just coffee packets and a packet of dry toast. I honestly thought it was a joke. Nothing matched what the website promised or showed. The cold pool was closed, the hot pool was completely abandoned, the sauna area was disgusting, the common room was awful, and the grill couldn't be used. The worst part was that reception was always empty. The gardener greeted us, and when we had questions, nobody was available to answer. It feels like this used to be a lovely place and has been abandoned. The price is completely out of line with what you get. It's not worth even half of what they're asking, and there are much, much nicer options at that price. I won't return.

We came in November 2022, and it was a huge letdown compared with our first visit in November 2017. Back then it was a dreamlike place; now it seems practically abandoned. A real shame. I've attached photos, and I hope someone new takes over and brings it back to its former beauty.

The rooms are spacious, with big windows looking out over Lake Correntoso. The cabins are very well equipped, and the staff are attentive and helpful to guests. The location is excellent and the scenery is breathtaking. I'd definitely come back.

The cabins are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities, and the location overlooking the Correntoso River is stunning. It's said to be the world's shortest river, at just 300 meters. The setting is privileged, but keep in mind there's a lot of going up and down stairs. If you're arriving by boat, this may not be the place for you, since parking is at the top and the cabins slope down toward the river.
