Cabañas Portal del Manzano

Melina, the manager, was very kind, and we appreciated the barbecue area. The rest fell far short of what we expected. Our cabin was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere, mold in the bathtub, stained sheets and towels, and an old kitchen sponge. The cabins need maintenance: outlet covers were missing, some paintwork was poor, and one bathroom leaked. There was no paper towel or hand soap either. We’d booked 10 nights but left after the first.

The common areas, including the pools and jacuzzi, were deteriorated and poorly cleaned, and that was part of a generally disappointing six-day stay. When we arrived, a bathroom pipe was broken and had left everything wet. There were dirty dishes in the oven, stained bedspreads, curtain rods that kept falling because they had no stops, and a grill left dirty with used coals from earlier guests. The safe had no batteries. With all of that, the stay wasn’t pleasant. I wouldn’t return, especially at this price, given the service and amenities.

We had an issue with the mattress, and they brought us a new one shortly after. Everything else was perfect. Meli is the best. Thanks, highly recommend!

Good value for the price. The house is comfortable, nicely heated, and has a garage and parrilla, though it could use a few small repairs. It’s near Puerto Manzano and in a great spot for anyone wanting to stay outside the city.
