I went to the hotel spa and found the service pretty average. The price also seemed high for what they offered. I booked by phone and checked whether we could pay by credit card. They said yes, but at the end of the spa day they told me they only took cash for spa services. Since I didn’t have cash, they had me pay through “Mercado Pago” and charged me a commission. When I asked for a bill, they gave me a ticket that wasn’t valid as a receipt or bill. It seems like they do all their spa business off the books, perhaps Afip should look into it. The woman at reception was also unprofessional and rude. I really don’t recommend this place.

There are plenty of beautiful places in Villa La Angostura, and this one just isn’t worth the money. They seem focused on making money instead of providing good service.

We got stuck in a five-day stretch of rain, and staying at this beautiful hotel was what made the trip so enjoyable. The service was excellent, and we had a fantastic time. Pablo at reception is a total gem. Chiara, Mica, and Favio deserve the blame for my three-kilo gain, they’re gems too!
