We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, especially the meat, sweet potato purée, and wine, and breakfast was tasty too. There’s also a pool and spa where you can book a massage. The masseuse was excellent, I recommend her. The pool area could use some care, though: the windows were dirty, the fence was broken, and the water wasn't the cleanest. There were a few loungers and umbrellas. The hotel is in a lovely spot, and every room has a beautiful bay view. The bathroom's big panoramic windows are gorgeous. The room was comfortable but quite small, some windows had no mosquito nets, and there was no air conditioning. You can walk to the Pier for lovely lake views and a sense of privacy. Staff were pleasant and polite, but almost nobody spoke English.

Every corner of the hotel had a breathtaking view, even from the bed and the toilets. Breakfast was fun, the pool was perfect, and everything felt well kept. We had a more than perfect stay.

The area itself is very nice, but the hotel felt run down for what it costs. Our room was small, not very clean, and in poor condition. When we switched on the in-room jacuzzi, black deposits discolored the water. The pool had bugs in it, and tiles were missing or peeling away. Service was below par, with staff who seemed untrained for their jobs and paid little attention to guests. Breakfast was mediocre, and despite the photo, there was no outdoor space for it. Wi-Fi in the rooms was weak and unreliable. Very disappointing at this price.

The views are wonderful, but the hotel itself is old and needs serious maintenance and renovation. It really doesn't feel like a boutique hotel. The rooms are basic, and the service was poor. The women at the front desk didn't speak English, and breakfast was dull and bad.

Good value for the money, with friendly staff, a tasty breakfast, and a room with a lovely view and bath. The pool could use a little TLC, but we had a great stay.
