Our small room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the quiet and the heated pool. The location is really lovely, and the waiters are very friendly. Breakfast is served, and there’s also a buffet option. The hot water went off for a few hours, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay.

The kittens who live at the hotel are a lovely bonus, very sweet and cute. My partner and I didn’t have a car, but we could reach the main road easily and had two public transport stops nearby. The beaches and rivers around the area are all walkable. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, exceptionally clean, and the simple breakfast was tasty and good quality. A small refrigerator in the rooms would be a nice addition, but otherwise it was excellent.

The breakfast was just a basket of croissants and bread, and in the end we had to ask them not to bring it. We were also offered a room with three single beds, though we’re a couple. All night there were irritating sounds of running water and some machine we still couldn’t identify. The bottom sheet was just a regular top sheet and came loose whenever we moved. When we arrived, we had to ask them to turn on the heat. I’m leaving this beautiful place very sad. Nothing was resolved, and I’m disappointed because I came hoping to enjoy it, but it wasn’t worth it.

I booked this inn for my parents, and it hurts to see that the price didn’t match the service they got. They wouldn’t replace a plastic cup that broke in the bathroom, and my parents couldn’t have tea in the lounge because there were no cups available. Breakfast was only toasted white bread with dulce de leche and a few other pastries. The service they provide is a disgrace. SHAMEFUL!

Pantufla and Bandido are excellent hosts! The place is very nice, about 20 minutes from downtown Villa La Angostura and 10 minutes from the entrance to Cerro Bayo. The bed was great, and the shower and water were excellent. It does the job. The breakfast wasn’t continental as advertised, just a simple spread of tea, croissants, and toast with spreads. It would be nice to have a mini-fridge in the rooms for drinks or snacks.
