For anyone looking for adventure, Yala puts lots of places within easy reach, including Quebrada de Humahuaca, lagunas de Yala, termas de Reyes, Tiraxi, and plenty more, especially spots off the beaten path. San Salvador is only 15 minutes away. The campground has grassy and roofed sites, rooms for when it rains a lot, restrooms with hot water, a restaurant, convenience store, pool, and BBQ spots. The management is friendly and has useful information for people who don’t know the area.

There’s a very large area to camp, with grassy spots that fit our Promaster/Ducato-sized camper van. The manager was friendly and attentive. Electricity, hot showers, clean bathrooms, and grills are available. Recommended.

If it weren’t so overpriced, this would be a fine place. I’d keep going another 2km, there’s another one that’s cheaper and better.

The Wi-Fi was the best part. The campground itself was okay, but nothing more, and the old bathrooms smelled bad. The rest was more or less fine, but 200pp is ridiculous. We’ve stayed at much better campgrounds for half the money, so this definitely wasn’t worth it.

The campground has a pool, internet, shady spots, potable water, grills, and electricity at every site. There are cabins with rooms too if you’re willing to pay more, plus an on-site restaurant that sells drinks and coals for grilling. It was very busy when we visited and we stayed for two nights. The internet stopped working after the first day and they never got it back up. The hot showers were a bit dirty. Apart from that, it’s a great campground!
