Alpbach is such a beautiful place. We were there for a wedding and stayed at Haus Sonnwend, where Gitty and the staff made us feel welcome with their attentive service. Everyone was friendly, and most people spoke English, which made the whole visit a good experience. We'll definitely return, even though we don't ski.

We felt right at home thanks to the hosts' wonderful hospitality. They welcomed us warmly, made sure breakfast had plenty of vegetarian options, and gave us Alpbachtal cards when we arrived. Those made getting around the region, including the Gondola ride, easy. We really enjoyed our two nights, and the guesthouse views were dreamlike.

The staff were lovely and quick to help with solutions, including when we arrived late. This charming guesthouse also served an excellent breakfast, with lots of choice and plenty of fruit. We were given a free Alpbach-card for access to different gondolas up the mountains. Such a lovely stay.

Breakfast was amazing, with everything you could want and more, and the bus links and ski resort were easy to get to. We had a wonderful week at Haus Sonnwend. Kitty made us feel at home and was happy to accommodate all our needs. We'd love to return. Thanks for everything!

The team were absolutely charming and did all they could to make sure we had a wonderful stay. I've stayed in many places across Austria, and the hospitality at Haus Sonnwend ranks among the very best. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and large balconies.
