Altaussee is a dream for hiking, and Villa Laske made a perfect base. We booked four nights and loved the house, room, and location. Our room was lovely, with an enclosed glass balcony where breakfast was served when the weather wasn't suitable for the garden. The bathroom was across the hall rather than ensuite, but it was for our exclusive use. Breakfast was great, though it didn't vary one bit over the four days. For stays longer than one night, I'd suggest negotiating some variation.

Breakfast comes to the room and can be eaten in a small adjoining room with a view. There was good pot coffee, assorted cheeses and cold cuts, warm pastries, and a thoughtful touch with grapes and nuts. The room itself is charming, traditional, and rustic. Definitely recommend it.

Mrs. Laske is very friendly and kind. The villa's rustic feel makes staying there pleasant, whether you're in a room or a vacation apartment.

The hosts were very friendly, and the garden is inviting. Our room was a good size and very clean, with a cozy bay window loggia. Its bathroom and toilet were separate, which didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was plentiful and very good, and they gladly accommodated requests, like skipping sausage in favor of extra vegetables. It's a quiet place with parking right in front of the house, and the lake is about a 10-15 minute walk away.

That five-star breakfast made each relaxing day start just right. We also felt at ease from the moment we arrived, and really enjoyed the service during our lovely, restful stay at your villa. A big thank you. We'll definitely return.
