Lengbachhof

I was staying here for a two-day business meeting at a neighbouring hotel, and the mosquitoes made it hard to get the undisturbed sleep I want from a hotel. When I asked for spray, repellent, or another room, I was first told they couldn't help. After quite a bit of back and forth, they offered me a room higher up. I found and caught three mosquitoes there. With mosquitoes everywhere, screens on doors and windows seem like the least they could do in this rural area. There was loud music even with the windows shut, on the third floor. The staff were friendly, but the service was limited.

The people here are amazing. The hotel has lots of rooms, and everything was very clean with no strange smells. I can't recommend it enough.

The hotel feels a little older, though it's still very nice. My stay was a good one, with wellness facilities, massages, huge rooms, and very good food. It's always full because it's a conference hotel.

Getting to Lengbachhof without a car sounds a little tricky, though there are supposed to be some buses. Altlengbach is west of Vienna, out in the countryside in the Vienna Woods (Wienerwald), rather than part of Vienna. In winter, you may get to experience snow in the area. This is a huge seminar hotel and restaurant, with so many rooms and seminar spaces that it's easy to get lost inside. The staff were friendly and willing to help. We enjoyed a Wiener Schnitzel with rice and salad, preceded by the Austrian Leberknödelsuppe. All the dishes tasted excellent, and we ate in an elegant interior. With Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann
