We stayed in the Fritzerkogel apartment with our young son, and they had a cot with bedding and a highchair ready for him. The daily bread delivery was handy, and we especially liked the farmhouse bread and cakes. We also borrowed a toddler sled for free. This was our second winter at the Sauschneiderhof, and the Pomberger family made us feel just as welcome as the first time. We'd happily return.

The animals were a lovely part of the stay: the chickens could roam freely, the calves stayed with their mothers and greeted people driving into the valley, and my dog and I were warmly welcomed and looked after. The host family even treated me to freshly baked bread and eggs. It’s such a peaceful, idyllic place, with the Tennengebirge and Bischofsmütze in view. Thanks, we’ll be back!

Kids have their own playground and farm to enjoy, and the balcony looks straight toward the “Bischofsmütze” mountain. Inside, the apartment was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything from an egg cooker to an oven. Highly recommend it :)

Pleasant owners and a great private place to stay. The cross-country skiing oval across the road is lit up, and the main cable car is about 10min away.
