Apart Denise

The owners are friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. There’s always enough room for the car, and children can play table tennis or table football in the evenings. The rooms and kitchen are nicely furnished and practical, though our room for three could have used a bit more space for clothes. It’s a pleasant, quiet place in a good location, suitable for skiers and others. We recommend staying here.

I was really disappointed with Denise. The prices are too high for what this apart hotel offers. The apartments aren’t laid out well: some rooms feel like tents for two, and there’s only one toilet for four, five, or more guests. Staff were unfriendly and even rude. Nobody told us about the ski wardrobe or where to take the garbage, so we had to figure it all out ourselves. The worst part was that a staff member came into the apartment the day before we left Denise to look for or inspect damage while we were out skiing. Afterward, they called us to reception and asked us to pay for whatever damage they said they’d found, whether we had caused it or not. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else for a ski holiday. We were the first from our group to arrive, around 13:15 P.M., and had to wait until after 14:00 P.M. for our flat to be ready. We were two young families from the 4th floor, and I don’t think it was appropriate for you to speak to us that way, Denise. We left our apartment very clean, took out all the garbage, washed the dishes in the dishwasher, and even made the beds. Nothing was broken, so your comments were directed at the wrong people. Everyone in our group was disappointed with the visit, not just our two couples. We ski in Austria every year, and nobody has treated us like that before.

I’ve stayed here a few times, and it’s been pleasant every time. The staff were especially friendly and helped as much as they could. The rooms were very clean and good for the price. I’d come back to Apart Denise for a relaxing winter break.

Fugen worked really well as a base for driving to different ski spots around the Ziller valley. Denise is clean and cozy, with private parking right outside, and it’s very close to the MPreis shop, skibus station, Therme, and railway station. We spent a week here in the mountains and found the staff friendly and helpful. The amenities had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed it 100 percent, definitely a place to go!
