The area is beautiful and quiet, with a very good Spar within walking distance. Villach is a 20-minute drive away. The owners were very kind and supportive, and breakfast was very good. We also tried the dinner they offer each day, once, and liked it. The room was a good choice in the end, though prices are relatively high, as they are all around here. The rooms look a bit retro. The mattress was comfy, but the shower curtain kept jamming on us, which was annoying.

The food was a highlight: we could choose between two dinner menus, and the meal was exceptionally good, fresh, and local. Breakfast was the same. The service lady, who was also the owner, was nice. The place felt a little stuck in time, maybe 20-30 years behind modern hotels. The bathrooms were clean but old-fashioned, and for what we paid, I wouldn't have expected them to be like that. I'd suggest contacting the accommodation by phone or email to check the rates, since the large online platforms charge more than the price list we saw at the hotel. I'd recommend it for the food and vintage feel.

Everyone working there tried to make us feel at home, and the family is the sweetest. The breakfasts were great too. The one drawback is that there's no AC.

We slept really well because it was so peaceful. The building is older, but has a cozy atmosphere and plenty of charm. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with good variety. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, and we felt at home straight away. Thanks for the hospitality. We'd love to come back!
