Wohlfühlhotel Goiserer Mühle

The area is lovely and the hotel is well placed for skiing. Our room was nice, with a huge balcony and an interesting view, though hygiene could have been better. The staff were attentive to our requests and quite available. Breakfast was basic, and the food was okay, nicely made but nothing special in taste. Locals would probably appreciate it more. Hygiene around the food wasn’t great either.

The four-course dinner each day was a highlight, and the breakfast was splendid too. We chose the half-board option during our week-long stay in mid-October 2025, when the hotel was quiet. Everyone on staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with getting around the region, especially Daniel, thanks! We travel a lot, and this charming hotel really felt like a gem.

The wellness area on the second floor was a peaceful, intimate place to unwind, with comfortable loungers and mountain views. My vegetarian meals were really nice, and the chef seemed just as happy cooking for meat eaters, vegans, and pescatarians. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, with balconies over the water below that made it restful to fall asleep. The hotel manager was lovely, very helpful, and enthusiastic about sharing regional delicacies and Austrian wines. Really excellent overall.

We stayed in room 6, which was large and had a great view. The location was pleasant and convenient, the food was amazing with local products, and the staff were very nice and caring. The shower was a downside: it was so small that I had to leave the door open to shower properly, since the ceiling shower head was too big and there was no handheld one. I also didn’t like having the toilet separate from the bathroom. The restaurant only opens at 6 pm, and although the location is very good, the stay felt a bit too expensive for what it offers.
