Heritage Boutique Apartments Bad Ischl

We felt at home right away. The hosts were so kind, communication was quick and easy, and check-in was simple. The apartment itself is modern, spotless, spacious, and warmly designed, in a great spot a short walk from the center and the main attractions. It was such a lovely, comfortable and peaceful base, with a touch of luxury while exploring the Salzkammergut region. We’ll definitely be back! Ivana&Ivica&kids

Getting into town is an easy walk, and the apartment still feels quiet and relaxing. Check-in went smoothly, communication was great, and everything was spotlessly clean. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Bad Ischl. We’re a couple from Australia, and really enjoyed our stay at Heritage Boutique Apartments Bad Ischl. It was thoughtfully set up with little things that made it feel like home, including extra bathroom storage, nice towels, reusable shopping bags, towels for the Eurothermen resort, and lovely themed decor throughout. We also recommend the plentiful breakfast mentioned in the apartment booklet. It was a highlight and a perfect way to start the day.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and shared plenty of useful local information. The town center is walkable, and buses stop right outside, though the road noise may bother you. We could hear vehicles even with the windows closed, so it depends on your tolerance for noise. There’s no hotel parking, so you have to use a free lot several hundred meters away. I knew that before booking, but it’s useful to know. Our two-night stay had some trade-offs. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and dining table, but the bed was only mediocre. Being on the top floor during a recent heat wave made it quite warm, though the provided fan kept it manageable. At first the bedding smelled musty, probably because the windows had been closed all day. The smell went away when we opened them and let sunlight reach part of the bed. The historic building has a lot of character, though there’s no elevator, so getting luggage to the top floor takes effort. There’s a pleasant shared area and balcony on the first floor where you can sit in the sun. Overall, it was a decent stay, with a few things to weigh up depending on what you need.

Monika was a super friendly host and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We had a fabulous time in Bad Ischl and will definitely return. We booked two Heritage Boutique apartments, and both were perfect: very clean, spacious, and well equipped. They’re well placed for exploring Bad Ischl and the surrounding area, including its many lakes. Hallstatt salt mine is definitely worth a visit.
