Alte Schule

We’ll definitely return and are looking forward to seeing Waltraud and her family again. We stayed for the second time in September 2022, and she was the kindest, most caring hostess. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the view was superb, and breakfast was amazing. Each day she gave us great suggestions for things to do in the beautiful area, from leisurely walks to more active outings, depending on the weather. Best wishes, Manfred and Angelika.

This was our second visit to Sankt Oswald, above Bad Kleinkirchheim. We stayed again at the Alte Schulle guesthouse, run by Mrs. Waltraud Pontasch, and really liked it. Everything was tidy and clean. The village is popular in winter, but plenty of visitors from around Europe come in summer too, as you can see from the international country signs on cars: I, NL, H, PL, CZ, D.

We stayed from November 22nd to 24th, 2019, and everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was plentiful, and the location was quiet. The owner is a wonderful lady, very friendly and helpful, and luckily she speaks Italian. It’s a beautiful place even in summer, and we’d love to return. Lorenzo and Mara.

We had indescribably beautiful weather, and as always, breakfast was first-class. The charming village of St. Oswald and the old school are fantastic every year.
