The owner was great at helping us out, even arranging a restaurant booking after we arrived late. Everything else went smoothly too. Our room was clean and quaint, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast room was pleasant. Breakfast had plenty of variety and high-quality ingredients for a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The location worked well for hiking, and the beer sold at the hotel was reasonably priced. For a budget stay, the place is spacious and has a kitchen. Our room was quite cold because the heating was off, though, and we found a few different insects in both the kitchen and bathroom. There was no soap in the bathroom either.

If you're looking for somewhere to sleep after apres-ski and plan to eat out, this could suit you well. We found the hotel itself very good, and the friendly older Dutch couple running it seemed accommodating. Staying there also let us extend our time in the area, which was really pleasant for just one night. The room was small, with a bed, closet, little coffee table and two chairs; the bathroom, with its toilet, sink and shower, was tucked inside another built-in closet. It’s a simple, decent option for keeping costs down close to the Berwang slopes. I wanted somewhere comfortable to unwind after skiing, though, and there wasn’t much in the room for that.

Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is in a very good spot. Our room was large and clean, but it felt cold until we sorted out the heating. The design is old-fashioned, and there were no toiletries. It wasn’t quite what we expected.
