We picked this as a one-night self-catered stop on our way from Calais to northern Italy via the Reschenpass, but I’d love to stay longer and hike, taking the lifts higher. The views from Berwang, at 1350m, are amazing across the green pastures, with cowbells in the distance. It’s quiet and really relaxing. Our ground-floor one-bedroom apartment was lovely, very clean, and finished to a high standard. It had a kitchen, fridge, dining area, bathroom with shower and towels, and wifi. Wine and beer were available to buy onsite. The family hosts were lovely. Totally recommended.

Having coffee outside, listening to the cowbells and taking in the magnificent valley and mountain view was a highlight. The location is absolutely wonderful. The apartment was immaculate, modern, and felt high quality, with a level of cleanliness I’ve rarely seen in a hotel or apartment. The landlady was so lovely. My only regret is not staying longer. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

We had a great time in Tirol, but the extra charges ended up spoiling it for me. We were charged €10 a day for something I still can't identify, and if we'd ordered breakfast it would have added another €300. Our dog came with us, which cost an extra €12 a day. I understand dogs can be messy, but during our five nights the room was never cleaned once. With three small children who don't always get food from plate to mouth, the dog was the only reason the floor stayed clean. I've spent about half of the last 21 years in hotels and guest houses, so I notice details other people might not. The property itself is PERFECT, especially if you're traveling without pets and have unlimited money. That's why I gave it four stars.

The views were absolutely amazing, and everything about the apartment was beyond perfect. We booked just one night at the last minute, but the welcoming hosts were very accommodating. A beautiful place to stay.

A comfortable room for the price, with breathtaking views. This lovely BnB is close to the Austria/Germany border. If you're driving over from Germany, remember to get a vignette at the Shell garage after the border tunnel.
