The location worked well, with a toboggan run right next door, but the apartment was only okay. Evenings were noisy because of the pub downstairs, and people shouted outside late at night. Loud music also came on suddenly. At check-in I was charged an extra €140 that I hadn't been told about.

We stayed for two nights last week and really liked the apartment. The owners and staff were friendly, and the setting was beautiful. If we head to Italy for a holiday again, we'd happily stop here on the way.

The apartment was roomy, with a lovely view in a beautiful setting. It was quiet while we were there, though I can imagine winter sports season is different. Taking a go-kart down the mountain was a fantastic experience. The room was very warm, so a fan might help. The kitchen could use better cutlery, since there was only a bit of everything, plus a bread knife and a proper cutting knife. A hand towel alongside the tea towel would also be useful.

The place was very clean, and there was free parking in front. Still, some things felt odd. The layout put the wardrobe past the living room and kitchen, so getting to it meant walking halfway through the apartment with shoes on. The toilet was by the entrance with no sink, which meant crossing the apartment to wash my hands in the shower room. I couldn't see the logic in that. We tried sleeping with the window open for two nights, but the stream behind the house was much louder than I'd expected, so we ended up closing it at night. Breakfast wasn't being served because occupancy was low. I've never run into that at other hotels or apartments in Austria. The owner said she'd leave us the local guest cards advertised in the apartment, but they never appeared. It also seemed strange to be asked to strip the beds ourselves before leaving.
