Schloss Dörflinger

We’ve stayed here many times, including six nights in August 2025. It’s a pleasant, comfortable hotel and a handy base for town and the surrounding area. We’ll be back. John from 🇬🇧.

The hotel has a lot of rustic charm, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is great, and the staff are nice. The bathroom could use a refresh.

Our snowboard camp worked out perfectly here. Schlosshotel Dörflinger is cozy, quaint, and retro, while still having all the amenities we needed. The views are awesome, the beds are so comfortable, and the shower and bath are great. The restaurant food is pretty good too. What really made the place special was the staff. They make you feel at home and are always ready to help. Suzanne, the owner, works incredibly hard, which probably helps explain the hotel’s success. Atman seems to work 24 hours a day, eight days a week! Annia is so sweet, and she should be modeling instead of working here :) I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. I’d love to come back!

The restaurant was a highlight for us. The food exceeded our expectations, with local ingredients and homemade spaetzle made from scratch. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the hotel has a nice middle size, with high-class amenities but a small enough feel that people are kind and engaging. They made sure our meals were just right from start to finish. Our room had breathtaking panoramic views from high on the hill, across snow-capped mountains to the sparkling lights of Bludenz below. Waking up to that landscape each morning was a dream. The hotel is centrally located, and the borders of Germany and Switzerland are very close. A wonderful choice for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break in Austria.
