Ferienhaus Hochwimmer

We spent eight days here before Easter, and the time flew by. It was wonderfully peaceful, as we were almost alone. The host family are kind and friendly, their property is well maintained, and our apartment was tidy, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Dogs are welcome, and we got helpful tips for outings with ours. We often enjoyed sitting and chatting with the hosts. Their guest dog, Benny, was a little reserved but a good boy. Travel outside peak season if you’re after quiet and relaxation. There were even some relaxed cows. We highly recommend the Hochwimmer holiday home and have already decided to return next year. The marmots, vultures, and alpine pastures are waiting for us. Thanks for such a lovely holiday. We’ll stay in touch and look forward to coming back.

A peaceful spot with lovely views and friendly hosts. We enjoyed relaxing by the trout pond. There’s no play area for children, but it’s a good base for exploring the many beautiful valleys of the Hohe Tauern mountain range. We had a wonderful holiday here.

The hosts are super friendly and very welcoming to dogs. It’s ideal for hikers, and the view of the surrounding mountains from the room is breathtaking. Once you’re down from the mountain, the location is quite central and makes it quick to get around. Great value for money, and I’d definitely stay again! :)

This was our second stay, and we were just as happy as the first time. The rooms are clean, the hosts are friendly, and breakfast is hearty. For hiking with dogs, it’s hard to beat. You’ll need a luxury hotel if luxury is what you’re after. For a welcoming, family atmosphere, a fantastic location, and priceless views, this is the place.
