Valschena Appartements

The balcony view was a real wow, and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was clean, tidy, and well equipped for anyone wanting to be independent during their stay. The owners were very kind and helpful. There’s a useful bus stop close by, with connections to Burseberg, Bludenz, and the Lünersee, and the Dorfbahn cable car is just a few minutes’ walk away. I’d very much stay here again.

We’ve been coming back to these spacious, clean apartments for years, and we’ll return again. They’re well equipped and beautifully located in Brand. Gabriele and Elmar are welcoming hosts who couldn’t be more helpful. The balcony has a spectacular view and is such a nice spot to relax after a day walking in the mountains.

We were a family of five and stayed here last summer. At the time, we thought we’d had a pleasant stay. Nine months later, though, we were shocked to receive a legal notice saying the stay hadn’t been paid. It seems there had been a payment problem between the property and Booking.com. The owners didn’t contact us by phone, email, or SMS to sort out what appears to have been a clerical error. They went straight to a lawyer, and the legal fees came to nearly the extra total rental price on top of the rent. It’s deeply disappointing that a business would sue its guests instead of sending a simple email about a missing payment. A complete lack of customer orientation!

There’s a wonderful sense of peace here at night. The rooms are exceptionally beautiful, very well maintained, and furnished to a high standard. The mountain views are superb.
