For a scenic, easy walk near Vienna, take the train to Breitenstein and head back on foot to Klamm. Finishing with a snack at Althammerhof is a lovely part of the route. I haven't stayed overnight, but I really like the location, Most, sheep cheese, and lamb cold cuts.

The apartments are cozy, clean, and well equipped, with a wonderful view. The staff are friendly, and there's a great selection of homemade products for sale at reception.

Check the opening hours before you go. The lamb dishes are delicious and come from local production, and you really should try the Most drink.

The service was superb and the food was high quality. We'll be back to support this family-run business.
