Chalet Peter

We were really impressed by the sauna, and loved sitting out in the sun on the terrace. There are nice walks starting right at the house, and the ski area is close by. Our family of nine had a few lovely days here. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and furnished in a modern style. The bathrooms had lots of space for all of us and had recently been renovated. We were comfortable cooking in the big kitchen and gathering at the roomy dining table. The information folder was very helpful.

Our one-year-old grandchildren had a great time wandering around the house and garden, and the cot and highchair were ready for them. Families with young children should find the chalet very suitable. We also appreciated how quickly and kindly Annette and Axel answered questions and shared useful tips. There was lots of room inside, and the location was peaceful. The garden is large and thoughtfully furnished, and we found the kitchen supplied with everything we needed for cooking. After a lovely hike, the four showers meant everyone could freshen up without waiting. We had a wonderful family break at Chalet Peter near Zell am See and would love to return to this lovely place.

We'd stayed at Chalet Peter four years earlier, and this visit was even better for us. The two little ones, aged 20 months and 24 months, could walk straight from the huge living room out into the garden and onto the hillside. There was a travel cot and high chair, which made arriving with them easier. The house had newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms, four showers, four toilets, and a huge table with room for all 11 of us. We all felt at home and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with detergent, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, salt, and oil. It felt like visiting friends, though the supplies may depend on the previous guests. We found that especially pleasant, like a similar experience we had in Tuscany in 1998.

The location was great, and we’re already thinking about coming back. The bedrooms were beautifully done and new, and there were enough bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was so well equipped, and at last, plenty of sharp knives! We had a fantastic break in a fantastic holiday home.
