The only thing I'd change is the sofa, which needs replacing. Otherwise, it's a nice, roomy cottage in a good spot, about a 10-minute walk to the slopes, with lovely walks starting right outside. There's plenty of crockery and similar supplies, and the landlady is friendly and quick to respond.

That sunset view of the Zimba from the balcony was stunning, almost as if the mountain had caught fire. We first came to Tschengla in July 2020 and hope to be back soon, hopefully with another stay at Birkenhof. The landlady was an absolute sweetheart, and we'd gladly return anytime! :)
