The decor was nice, and our first dinner was four-star good. We ate here twice while staying in the area, but the visit on 1 January was a shock: the two waitresses were so unfriendly that we wondered if it was a joke. We left stunned by how different the service felt from the other lovely Austrian people we'd met. Very unimpressed.

The family running the inn were so kind and accommodating. When bad weather stopped us starting our five-day trek, they helped us work through the maps and even offered to drive us an hour to a different starting point. 10/10, recommend.

I only had dinner at the restaurant. There was enough for everyone, and the menu had a sufficient range of good-quality choices. I especially enjoyed the wiener schnitzel.

We really liked our stay. The room was comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome. The dining room is on the small side, but the food is good.

The food is good and the staff are friendly. I've only eaten here, and keep in mind it's cash only.
