The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. There are lots of hiking options nearby, and the location was very good. Even though we'd booked a family room, ours felt quite small. The food was average. Breakfast was okay, but dinner could have been better, especially since we'd booked half board.

I got back from Italy very late at night, and the staff kindly found a free garage for my motorcycle. One of them even offered me a drink, which was really nice. They let me check out late, and breakfast was good too. Everything was just what I hoped for. I'll be back.

We had a fantastic stay, and the hotel was great value for the money. The staff and owners were so hospitable. The renovated rooms are well worth booking. Ours was spectacular and charming, with lovely wooden touches and Austrian flair. The decorations and lighting were beautiful, and the balcony was a great place to sit in the sun and enjoy the breathtaking views. The room exceeded our expectations. The pullout sofa bed was new and comfortable for our three-year-old, and the regular beds, mattress, duvets and pillows were all very good. The bathroom was wonderful, with a separate toilet that came in handy. Parking is free, and there's plenty of space. We visited for two nights as a family with a small child. Breakfast runs from 8-10 and dinner from 6-8. The food was fantastic, with just the right portions. Even our picky toddler happily tried the dishes. They were accommodating if you didn't want something on the menu, and we enjoyed having an assigned table for both meals. The dining room team worked hard and clearly did their best. High chairs are available for little ones too. I can't complain about a single thing with the food. The uga lift is within walking distance and takes you up to the mountains, where there are lots of hiking trails. We had a wonderful hike, and at the top there's a cosy restaurant and a fantastic playground. The next day we drove to the Diedamskopf lift. You can take a stroller, though going down the mountain was a bit difficult. At the top there's a very informative little museum, with a 2 euro entrance fee, which is lovely for kids. The restaurant looked good too, and there's a nice terrace overlooking lots of mountain tops. I'd recommend the hotel in summer or winter. I'm sure the skiing is amazing.

Such a lovely place to stay! We enjoyed every minute.
