Garner Hotel Klagenfurt Moser Verdino by IHG

The staff were great, really friendly, and gave recommendations to us wayward Travellers. The hotel is a bit dated, but that gives it some charm, and the rates seemed reasonable for the location. I did make a booking mistake, though: I meant to stay in Graz and missed that this hotel was listed as “nearby,” even though it’s 25 minutes away in Klagenfurt.

The only minor snag for me was that there’s no hotel parking, though it didn’t cause me any trouble. I was very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Moser Verdino. My room was clean, breakfast was good, and the reception staff were friendly. The two women serving breakfast were especially warm and welcoming. I also liked the beautiful, stylish staircase area.

I was here on my own for work and had an easy check-in, with a helpful receptionist who speaks Hungarian. Parking was simple this time, January 7th, on a street with blue markings. There’s also an underground garage nearby.

You can walk to lots of restaurants, cafes, and attractions in about five minutes from this spot in the Center of Klagenfurt. The rooms are great, though ours was missing a fridge and kitchen appliances.
