The owners were warm and understanding, and the basement apartment was lovely: roomy, comfortable and well equipped. There's no direct mountain view, but for a winter trip it works perfectly. You can head out skiing in the morning and return in the evening. It also has an infrared sauna and a heated rack for ski boots and skis. With its own entrance, the apartment feels private and peaceful. The ski bus stop is a two-minute walk away, buses are frequent, and the Ischgl gondola is a five-minute ride. Highly recommended!

In January, the five of us stayed in the basement apartment, which has its own entrance. It was beautiful, and Veronika and Lukas were lovely and friendly. The only real drawback for me is the view: there are just two street-level windows. That wouldn't bother me for a winter sports holiday, but I wouldn't want it in summer. Getting around is easy, with the bus stop a two-minute walk away and the lift five minutes later. The hallway has a ski rack, and the boots go on a heated rack. There are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and one with a sofa bed, plus a separate toilet. The second bathroom has an infrared cabin, which was wonderful. The kitchen is spacious enough and has a big fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The coffee maker is for filter coffee, which takes some getting used to if you're used to bean coffee ;-) We had some sick guests and asked Veronika for extra toilet paper and towels. She brought them without any fuss, so sweet, and checked in regularly to see how we were doing. Definitely recommend this place. Maybe we'll stay again!
