Breakfast was amazing, and I felt completely at home during my two-night stay. Thank you, Familie Fürtler!

My first stay in a guesthouse was at "Altes Rathaus", and I had a very positive experience. Ms Fürtler runs it with her husband. She's friendly and attentive, so communication was easy. The room was welcoming, though not very big. It was clean, well lit, and had a very comfortable mattress that gave me a perfect night's sleep. The balcony offered a small view over Dürnstein. The shower was tiny but clean, and the conductor provided towels, soap and shower gel. There was a TV at no extra cost and a wardrobe with coat hangers and enough room for eight pieces. We could come and go whenever we wanted as long as we kept quiet. Ms Fürtler serves breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. There was coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, appetizing bread, jam, cheese and sausages. I enjoyed the stay very much.

The proprietors were VERY nice, and this family-run place was a delight. The room was very clean, with modern amenities, in a building that's about 450 years old! Breakfast was fantastic. Loved it here.

The village is fantastic, and the place itself is very nice, clean and quiet. It's well kept, fairly priced and the service is good. Highly recommended.
