Arbio I Wilmas Apartments

The room was clean and had the essentials for our 4 nights, and being close to the metro made getting to the city centre easy. The pillows were too flat, which is my one complaint. Otherwise, I’d recommend the place and would stay again.

I wouldn’t choose this place again for a Vienna visit. The room was cold and had no heating, and although it was only 8 degrees outside, I couldn’t leave the windows open. The AC wasn’t working either, so the room felt stuffy. The refrigerator still smelled of mold even after it had been emptied. I suspect something left by a previous guest had spoiled. I was given two duvets despite staying alone, which seemed nice at first, but one was unwashed, had sweat marks, and smelled. Self check-in was confusing, especially the front door. There was never anyone at reception to contact, so the only way to reach somebody was by messaging through Booking.com.

There was rubbish left in the bathroom when I arrived, and I couldn’t get any help from customer service. They just ghost you when you try to contact them, and Airbnb support wouldn’t assist either. The listing says there’s a kitchen, but all it has for cooking is a microwave. Stay away from this listing.

The staff were indifferent and unhelpful throughout, dismissing my repeated requests for help and suggesting I was responsible for the stains. After I expressed how disappointed I was, they apologized and promised a 10% refund, then ignored my many follow-ups and effectively ghosted me. I’ve never had such indifferent, indecorous treatment at any property. My stay was already frustrating because the WiFi barely worked, so I burned through mobile data and had to walk to the nearby supermarket multiple times to top up. If you need a reliable connection and don’t want hefty extra-data costs, don’t book here. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bathroom drains smelled foul. I also found blood stains on a pillow under the linen. When I reported it, instead of taking responsibility and replacing it, they tried to blame me.
