Kaiserlounge Harald Astner Ebbs

Studio 2, the smallest apartment, was a little too cramped for us over our three nights. There was barely room beside the beds, and we missed having somewhere to sit apart from the breakfast bar stools. On sunny afternoons, though, you can sit and eat outside. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, and I’d have liked the apartment to be cleaner. There were plenty of towels. The house sits peacefully above Ebbs near Kufstein, a handy base for hikes and outings. Everything is furnished with a lot of care and individuality. A sauna, infrared sauna and bathing pond add to the atmosphere. Breakfast supplies include fresh eggs straight from the henhouse, plus jam, chocolate spread, butter, rolls for toasting and a fully automatic coffee machine.

The area is gorgeous, with lots of ways to get out hiking or cycling. We had a wonderful weekend and felt very comfortable. Harald was a fantastic host.

Harald was such a nice host, and we’ve already decided to come back. The apartment is beautifully furnished and packed with extras: a sauna, a big bathroom with a great shower and bathtub, a cozy alcove with extra sleeping space for up to four people, a projector and a good sound system.

The garden is a lovely spot to unwind, with its natural pond and sauna. And if the mountain scenery hasn’t worn you out, there’s a really well-equipped fitness room. Happy free-range chickens even bring the protein to your door. It feels wonderfully organic. The Kaiserhaus mixes rustic mountain lodge character with up-to-date technology, all in a stunning mountain setting. Harald is friendly, relaxed and welcoming, always cheerful and full of useful ideas for things to do. I highly recommend the Kaiserlounge and will definitely return. Thank you 😊
