The room was comfortable and spotless, with a king bed and a separate sofa bed. We especially liked the balcony view, the well-equipped kitchen, and the shower, which had just the right temperature and pressure. The metal shutters blocked the light completely and kept the apartment cool during the day. Parking on site was plentiful and free, a big plus after stays in older towns where parking can mean leaving the car outside town and paying for it. We found the location a little remote, at the south end of Ruette, and the town itself is pretty laid back. Still, it sits well for visiting Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau & Linderhof. The contactless check-in caused us some stress at first. After a long drive, we worried the room might not be available if we got in late, especially since we hadn't prepaid. We tried calling and emailing that morning to confirm our later arrival, but hadn't heard back by the time we set off. It turned out to be fine: check-in was through a kiosk, and we arrived about two hours after our window with no trouble. A couple of small things could be better. The string curtains got tangled often on doors and windows that swing inward. It would've been nice to have some coffee supplies for the coffee maker.

Parking was easy, and the surroundings were peaceful. The apartment itself was very nice.

Such a lovely apartment, in a really scenic setting!

Everything was tip-top.
