Hotel Fliesserhof

The food and wine, at extremely fair prices, were just what any Copenhagener could wish for. The place has all the traditional touches, with a lovely atmosphere and area to enjoy. Christian and Therese gave us the best trip we could have hoped for. We’d come back for the setting, the food and the whole experience.

The restaurant chef prepares amazing food, and the place has a great overall feel. A few rooms still need renovation, but I’d highly recommend it.

We had more than enough to eat every day, even though we’re big eaters, and never got bored with the meals. The cooks do a difficult thing well: making food that almost everyone likes. The salad bar has lots of variety, including roasted chicken and other meat dishes, and you can help yourself as often as you like. Some people mention small portions, but that applies only to the main dishes. The soups really were too salty, as someone else noted. Our room was clean and pleasant. We deliberately chose one of the older rooms, and it looked just like the pictures. The family-run hotel and restaurant made us feel wonderful, and I’d definitely recommend them. The region is lovely, with plenty to do for free if you stay a week, thanks to the Tirol west premium card, which is well worth having. The internet works perfectly. I’d love to come back!

I stayed here seven times, each for a week: six winter visits as a base for skiing in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, then once in summer 2025. After the way dinner had declined over time, mainly, I decided I wouldn’t book this hotel again.
