We found everything we needed, and the room was clean and very nice, with every detail thought through. The owners were hospitable and told us lots about nearby sights. It was interesting chatting with them about life in their town. We also had a great mountain view from the window, free parking in the yard, and a delicious, varied breakfast. We'd be glad to stay at Gintherhof Bauernhof again.

That breakfast was the best we had during our 17 days in Germany and Austria. The family was so welcoming and friendly that I'd go out of my way to stay there again. It's an 800 year old family farmhouse that's been remodeled, with beautiful old furniture and even a working wooden stove. Our bedroom was new, spacious, and beautifully decorated. What a beautiful place!

Annelies and her father made us feel like family, and we'll definitely return when we're in Austria again. They were welcoming and kind, and the accommodation was perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievable: fresh milk and yogurt from their cows, plus delicious homemade breads and cookies.

We had a lovely stay at Gintherhof Bauernhof & Gästehaus. Annelies and her parents were wonderfully hospitable, and their suggestions for things to do and places to see were especially useful. We were there between the summer and winter seasons, when many restaurants and attractions close, so we really needed that help. Our room was airy and clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with lots of local cheeses and meats, homemade bread, fresh milk and eggs. We could also put together a lunch to take along on hikes in this beautiful region.

We didn't have dinner at the Gintherhof hotel / BNB, but a nearby restaurant was so good that we ate there every evening. The hostess, Annalies, was attentive and helpful, a real sweetheart who couldn't have done more for us. It's a great boutique hotel in a beautiful location, and all in all, a genuine 5-star experience.
