It's a peaceful place in a lovely Swedish-style house, right behind the forest. The holiday apartment was beautiful, clean, and well cared for, with quality furnishings and a magnificent Lake Constance view. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Lindau is an easy drive away, and the house makes a great base for hikes. We'd love to return!

The internet was sometimes very unstable, which was the one downside, though with that distance and view it wasn't a big deal for us. Everything else made us want to return. We left today already in love with the lovingly furnished apartment, which has plenty of room to properly unwind and a huge terrace overlooking a breathtaking panorama of Lake Constance. The owners welcomed us warmly and even invited us to a meal. The view says it all, and you can walk straight into the nearby forest. Towns and villages are easy to reach by car, and there are shops in the village below. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and love nature, the Swedish House on Eichenberg is just right. Thanks again to the owners for such a wonderful stay. We look forward to seeing them again soon!

We liked it. Shopping is 10-15 minutes away by car, and Lindau is 20 minutes away. It's a beautiful house on the edge of the forest with a lovely lake view, though you need to be comfortable sharing the kitchen. The positives for us were the location, cleanliness, friendly hosts, and parking. The mattresses are a matter of taste. It wasn't as quiet as we'd hoped for our dog on New Year's Eve. The internet was poor, and after a long day in the cold there wasn't always hot water. A shame.
