The rooms are modern, the breakfast is amazing, and both the location and staff are great. Excellent value for a 3*** hotel!

The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety, from cheese, cold cuts, eggs, fruit, and fresh or pickled vegetables to fresh juices. We especially enjoyed making our own fruit and vegetable juice at the press. The automatic coffee machine was great, there were loose-leaf teas with infusers, and the products felt thoughtfully chosen, many from regional suppliers. Special requests were easy to arrange. Outside breakfast hours, the counter also has juices, wine, and packaged regional cold dishes, handy after skiing. We stayed at Hotel Ritterhof Ellmau for a ski holiday and felt at home from the minute we arrived. The ski bus stops right outside, and the ski storage room is easy to reach from outdoors. Our room was cozy and always left clean after daily housekeeping. The soft beds, fluffy pillows, and nice linens made for great sleep. There was a sofa and small table, a large shower, plenty of bathroom space, storage for clothes and suitcases, and a safe. The staff were consistently warm, helpful, and quick to answer questions or take care of requests. It was an easy, welcoming stay with a real feel-good atmosphere. We’d happily return.

The trust-based setup gives you a lovely feeling of being at home as a guest. We made snacks in the evening, and appreciated the complimentary water, tea, and coffee, the smart fridge system, and the discreet outlets by every seating area. It’s a unique concept, in my opinion, and I agree with the other five-star reviews. I’d love to stay here again. Highly recommended ☀️❤️
