The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, and we felt welcome throughout our stay at Der Holznerwirt. We appreciated the free car park and the complimentary bus passes from the hotel, which made getting around easy. The peaceful spa was beautifully maintained, and a lovely place to unwind after exploring. Meals were delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide range of fresh, high-quality food. The hotel blends traditional charm with modern comfort, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We left happy and relaxed, already looking forward to coming back. Attention to detail and guest comfort really stand out here. Highly recommended!

The spa was pleasant, with saunas and a room for relaxing. Service was professional and friendly, and the room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were good, and parking was free. The hotel is in a historic building in a quiet village, about a fifteen-minute drive from Salzburg. It’s also a good base for star hikes.

The food made our stay especially memorable. Breakfast was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the dinner we had one evening is something we’ll remember for a long time. My husband and I were traveling for our honeymoon and a friend’s wedding, and the staff made us feel at home with their warmth and welcome. Our room was beautiful, and the stunning saunas were deeply relaxing.

We’d definitely stay here again. It’s a handy stop on the way to Italy, just a few minutes from the highway, with spacious parking and large, comfortable rooms. The Austrian dinners were solid and the breakfasts generous, though the juices tasted a little artificial.

The spa had little room to relax, and some of the saunas were out of service. Check-in after 3 PM and check-out at 10 AM don’t work well. In the room, there was only a shower, without a showerhead.
