The owners were lovely and considerate. They made a late-night check-in after our long drive easy, and even let us check out at night. The apple pie was delicious. For skiing, it was handy to have a gear room with a boot dryer. Our boots were dry every morning, which really matters. The red slope runs to the house, and the quiet spot away from the town suited me well for unwinding after skiing. The walk to the center and supermarkets is a fair distance, though I saw that as a plus. There's good room for four people, or two couples if sharing the kitchen and bathroom works for you. The rooms are carpeted, furnished well, and have plenty of adjustable heat. You can cook too, with a hob, fridge, microwave, and pots, useful if you have dietary preferences or want to save money. Wi-Fi was reliable for video calls and streaming. It's great value if you want a cozy, practical place to recover after skiing, have a car for getting around, and value slope access. Anyone after modern, luxurious, spacious rooms in the town center near shops and bars may prefer somewhere else.
