The hosts were fantastic, and we felt looked after from the start. They shared lots of useful tips about getting around and choosing slopes, and even let us check in very early so we could make use of the day. Our apartment was comfortable, with lovely views from the room. Breakfast was amazing, and we enjoyed the sauna. There was also a coffee and snack corner available all day. The house is just 50m from a bus stop, and the ride to the ski terminal takes about 5 minutes. You can rent equipment there and leave it overnight if needed. We had an ideal five-day ski break. Thanks so much!

The host’s hospitality made us feel right at home, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. It’s only a few minutes to the funicular that goes downhill and to the ski lift for the slopes. s' Pfandl, one of the nicest traditional restaurants in town, is close by too. Recommended!

The owners are super friendly, and the apartments are huge. It’s well placed for the slopes and the Phillips ski resort. Getting to the town center is easy on the standing-room gondola, which runs until 10 pm.

What really put us off was being charged €3.80 for the two rolls my daughter and I had left over from breakfast and wrapped in napkins to take home. The host gave no explanation. It wasn’t about the money. We would gladly have rounded up the bill, and that could have covered the amount without leaving us upset. The gesture felt shameful, petty and stingy. We won’t return and can’t recommend the hotel. There were other small frustrations during what was otherwise a perfect holiday. Bathrobes cost an extra €10, the breakfast juices didn’t taste like proper fruit juice and seemed to be no more than 50% juice, and we had to book sauna time with the hosts each time. Payment for the full bill was cash only, which felt outdated and, in my opinion, probably came down to avoiding fees.
