The apartment was spotless, cozy, and lovingly put together. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating, and the location was both quiet and convenient, with quick access to the center and a Spar supermarket nearby. We’d absolutely stay again. The previous reviews seem highly questionable to us.

The terrace layout also seemed unsafe, with stones that could cause someone to fall. During our stay, someone entered without authorization, and we dealt with harassment, internet outages, and threats. We felt pressured to leave without being given a valid explanation. Our self check-in went wrong because the code was incorrect. The owner wouldn’t admit the mistake and came across as arrogant and disrespectful, with serious communication problems. I’d avoid this place and look for somewhere more respectable.

The terrace was dangerous for us. It’s on a slope with stones, and I nearly twisted my ankle when I arrived; my partner almost fell too. We also had someone enter our accommodation without our consent the day after we arrived. The owner acted as though this was allowed, though we believe it clearly violates the law. There was shouting, the internet was disconnected, and threatening messages pressured us to leave without any clear or direct reason. We were given the wrong self check-in code, and the owner refused to provide the correct one. They wouldn’t reconsider their mistake, spoke to us arrogantly, shouted, and made disrespectful gestures and expressions, assuming we hadn’t read the instructions. The owner was aggressive and hostile, with serious communication problems. Don’t waste your time or money. Look elsewhere.

The terrace was extremely dangerous. It led to a path about 30 cm lower, made of loose gravel and paving slabs. In twilight, the difference was hard to see, and my family tripped. I fell hard on my knee and wrist. Afterward, the key for the poorly working digital lock flew into the bushes and couldn’t be recovered. I spoke with the landlord, who started out friendly but then seemed pushy to me, and it was difficult to get him to leave us alone. We used the small basement/semi-basement apartment as a stopover. It’s one room with no separate bedroom. At first it seemed okay, but looking closer, we noticed a loose connection in the bedside light switch, a toilet seat that kept falling shut, crooked wardrobe doors that opened by themselves, and sagging mattresses. The landlord replied with what I considered arrogant and rude insinuations and slander (Booking.: July 28-29, 2023). Looking at other reviews, I saw similar reactions to feedback that didn’t meet the landlord’s expectations. I definitely doubt the positive Booking.com reviews are genuine. For a stopover, the place was somewhat acceptable, but the terrace is extremely dangerous, and I found the landlord unreasonable, arrogant, and dishonest. Even one star feels too generous. This is based on my own experience and impressions.
