Breakfast had loads of choices and was delicious, and dinner was great too. We ate there twice, trying both traditional dishes and vegetarian options. The kids devoured the Kinderschnitzel and Spaetzle both nights. We spent about €100 each evening. Parking was easy, complimentary, and spread across three lots with plenty of spaces. The spa was a perfect way to end busy days. I ran 10k every morning on the Rheinweg, then hiked 5-7 miles, including Kronberg and Ebenalp in Switzerland and Wildschloss in Liechtenstein. We also spent time on the Rhein Wanderweg. It’s an easy drive to Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Our family found the four-bed room great. There wasn’t a mini fridge, but they gave us an ice bucket, which worked well for chilling beers after the kids went to sleep. I especially liked the cold tank.

The staff were always welcoming and smiling. There’s free parking outside, and you can have lunch or dinner with local dishes. The rooms are fairly standard, but spacious and comfortable. The hotel is basic, though breakfast is a huge, delicious buffet.

The staff were very good, and breakfast was excellent. Our room was nice and had a beautiful view. We did spot one small cockroach when we arrived, but never saw anything else after that. Everyone speaks English, though the signs are all in German. It would help to have some information in English too.

The rooms are simple, but clean and nice, and there are walking routes nearby that are easy to reach. The real highlight is the basement spa: modern relaxation areas, two saunas, a steam room, an ice-water pit, and tea available freely. Super!
