Coming back to the hotel after a day hiking felt like coming home. The staff were hardworking, warm, and incredibly friendly. Breakfast and dinner were good quality, and the Hugo spritzes were delicious. We loved our six nights at Alpenhotel Wurzer. It made a great base for exploring the beautiful Filzmoos area. The dining and bar spaces are nicely decorated and candlelit in the evenings, and there’s a big terrace with lots of comfortable seats and lovely views. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was laid out well. We had the best experience and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Breakfast stood out, with plenty of good quality food to choose from, and the rooms were spotless. This was my second stay at Alpenhotel Wurzer, right in the heart of Filzmoos, and I love the place. It’s family-run and has a real home-like feel. The host is very friendly, cares about guests’ comfort, and makes sure you have what you need. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

The owner Patrick gave us helpful advice as we explored the mountain area and had a relaxing, enjoyable stay. It’s a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, good food, and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

The staff were amazing, and the hotel is in a great spot for skiing. I enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to return next ski season. Food was great, the rooms were modern, well-kept, and always clean, and everything was more than fairly priced. I’m definitely recommending it to my friends and family, and to anyone reading this.

The people were nice, the place was very clean, and breakfast was good. The one issue is that the booking listing said Hallstatt was 17 km away, but it was more like 60. There also wasn’t enough parking for everyone, so you may have to block somebody else.
