Ferienhaus Ramsau 8

The beautiful mountain surroundings and big meadow behind the house make it easy to unwind. It's a wonderfully quiet spot, with no through traffic or noisy roads for miles, and far from the mass tourism only a few kilometers away. The holiday home is around 350 years old and was renovated in 2016. A great choice if you want either a peaceful escape or a mix of quiet and busier places.

We've already stayed at holiday home Ramsau 8 three times, and we're sure to return. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and flexible, and Bad Goisern is only a few minutes away by car or a pleasant 20-30 minute walk. Shops, bakeries, inns, and restaurants are there, with the main road nearby and the Salzkammergut's hiking, cycling, and mountain scenery right on the doorstep. The house has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, and feels almost like home, though the living room and bedroom have a lovely mountain cabin feel. It's surrounded by a beautiful garden and wonderfully peaceful. Sometimes it feels like you're alone in a mountain hut. The terrace gets sunshine until almost evening even in autumn, and early risers may spot deer or other animals in the garden over their morning coffee or tea. What a lovely getaway, thank you!

It's paradise, simply put! If you love nature, animals, the Ruhr region, and the wonderful atmosphere of a charming 350-year-old cottage, you couldn't ask for more. Everything is spotless, and the owners are exemplary. A+ and countless stars!

The price feels completely fair for what you get, and the setting is so quiet, with lovely hikes starting nearby. The old house is beautifully kept, furnished with real taste, and has all the modern comforts. Simply fantastic, definitely recommended.
