The view over the valley is stunning, and anyone who loves nature and wants to unwind will feel right at home here. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Our young daughter also got to visit the sheep and cows in the barn, and fresh milk and eggs were available. We came in March after falling ill during our original booking period. The landlady was so warm and friendly that she offered to reschedule our stay at no charge, and we spent a few wonderful days here. The surrounding slopes were well-groomed, so skiing was still possible at the end of March, though the run down to the house was closed by then. It's also a great base for hikers and walkers. We'll definitely be back.

You'll need a car to get to the farm, but in return there's a lovely, green mountain landscape. The apartment, the smaller one, is clean and decorated beautifully, with wooden details, lovely curtains, a great sofa for relaxing in the evenings, and a nice bathroom. The bedroom is cozy and has a roomy wardrobe. It has exactly the feel you'd want for a Tyrolean stay. From the balcony at around 1,170 meters, the view stretches over the valley and mountains beneath the March sky. During our five days, we had warm sunshine, clouds and showers, then fog followed by sunshine again. The farm's own milk was delicious, almost like alpine pasture or hay, and the eggs had a richer taste. We took two cartons home. Many thanks to the friendly Eberharter family, including for delivering bread. This apartment is also a great place to start hikes and enjoy the quiet of nature. If you don't want to cook in the evening, the Alpengasthof Astegg is just a minute away, with excellent food and a great salad bar. We tried the Penkenberg (Finkenberg) and Hintertux ski areas, and both impressed us. Finkenberg is extensive and close to Astegg, so we'd recommend it, but one day isn't enough to see it all. Five days including arrival and departure was definitely too short, but better than nothing.

This is a quiet, beautiful area high in the mountains, around 1200-1300 meters above sea level. The views from the window are incredible. It's worth coming here to take in the beauty of the Alps.

The location is excellent, with ski buses running three times in the morning. In the afternoon or evening, you can take the great ski run right back to the house, and it's suitable for snowboarders too. The holiday home has a fantastic, welcoming apartment, and the hosts are friendly. We'd love to return!
