Communication with the property was awful. Booking.com said they would handle the prepayment 30 days before arrival, but the property messaged us three months ahead, very informally, asking us to send €150 to an IBAN. They provided no receipt for the payment, so it looked like a scam, even though the hotel could be legitimate. After going back and forth and being told, informally, to just trust them and send the money while they figured everything out, we cancelled. With no proof of prepayment, there was no guarantee they’d honor the booking when we arrived.

Don't go to this Gästehaus. We weren't welcome after 22:00. The lady said we had to find somewhere else to stay. That was poor customer service.

The rooms are a bit dated, but they were spotlessly clean and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the very nice hostess did her best to make sure guests were well looked after. The south-facing rooms can get warm when it reaches 30 degrees Celsius. We’d seen that in an earlier review, so we brought a fan, and it worked perfectly.

Mrs. Eberl was such a warm and welcoming host, and we felt very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful too. We’d love to come back.
